Overview:
An exterior side staircase leads up to Unit B - the Paris Mountain Perch. It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with two off-street parking spots. Even though it is a second floor unit, there are still high ceilings and grand oversized rooms.
Virtual Tour: Please see the pictures below for a room-by-room virtual walk-through of the unit starting with the approach to the entryway.
Exterior Stairs to the Front Door

The exterior stairs provide some privacy, and the trees around the stairs immerse you in nature, making it easy to forget that you're only 0.2 miles from the start of Main Street and all of the action.
Living Room
The front door leads to the living room, which is a grand-feeling room with plenty of space. There are 3 windows in addition to the doorway and a large closet for your coats and other storage needs. There is an original fireplace (deactivated for safety reasons) to remind you of the history of the home. In the winter, when the trees don't have their leaves, there are partial views of Paris Mountain between the other homes and leafless trees.
Large Hall with Laundry

The hallway connects the living room to the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, and it has a GE washer and GE dryer with a cabinet for your laundry supplies and a gorgeous wood tabletop for folding laundry. There is also a large closet in the hallway for your storage needs.
Bedroom

The bedroom is another oversized, grand-feeling room characteristic of a historic home. There is a fireplace to add a focal point to the room, and four large windows on two sides of the house to let a lot of light and cross-flow breeze into the room. There is a new modern ceiling fan and although there is only one closet, it's very large and deep. The room has so much extra space for a dresser/armoire and even a desk for a home office.
Bathroom

The bathroom has a new Kohler toilet, new vanity, faucet, and backsplash, new mirror, and new vanity light. The flooring is also new.
Kitchen and Dining Area

Off the hallway is a large "wide-galley" kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has all new cabinets and appliances including a new dishwasher, built-in microwave, high-end GE range/oven, a garbage disposal, and French door refrigerator with a generous amount of interior volume for your groceries. There are new granite countertops, and the large rectangular Kraus sink and faucet are a feature of the space. There is plenty of room for a dining table. There is a unique compass-rose floor inlay, which is a feature and talking point, but not original to the house. It was installed in 2025 to fill a missing section of flooring.
